Hello there. I noticed that in one of your previous asks you mentioned that you were attending Ringling. I'm a high school junior and and very eager to attend Ringling myself. Mind me asking how you got accepted? I'm so paranoid that I won't get in and have always wondered what get's a person rejected. :c Was it difficult, too many requirements? Or was it a lot easier than what you expected?
It’s actually not that difficult really…there’s two routes to being accepted into Ringling, good art or good grades. That and being able to pay to attend fff. Basically show them what you’re capable of and if you’re decent they’ll take you depending on what you want to do. For me, when I applied it was easier than I expected. I too was nervous about applying and insecure about what I was submitting, I even had someone help me pick stuff. I was expecting to get turned down or directly sent off into Illustration, when in turn..my portfolio was selected as one of the top 10 for Computer Animation. It made me flip. U:
So just give them what you got and hope for the best. xD It’s not all that terrifying really.
