So me and Mur were having this conversation yesterday about 2p!talia and what if it were more like the Trickster mode in Homestuck. This is pretty much what I gathered up.
Mattie would pretty much turn into those people who get angry when their insecurities get to them. Often taking it out on others. Not letting people get too close to him and hiding his feelings from the world, believing it would only make him come across as weak. He doesn’t necessarily boast how cool he is, but he definitely likes to play the cool guy role. He doesn’t need people to recognize how cool he is, he’s content with people not really noticing him. Whatever good he does, he knows it’s because of him and without him people would be lost or something like that fff. “PEOPLE NEED ME whether they know it or not!” that and “I can also do whatever I want, whether it be good or bad, and no one will know it because people don’t care enough to notice me. That’s okay. That’s fine. Who needs people. I am fine on my own.”
Alfred is pretty obvious. Turning into an insecure nervous wreck. He doesn’t believe he fits the “hero” role and is constantly criticizing himself left from right. He procrastinates and takes his time to think about his actions now and how they would make an impact on others rather than just diving head on into his plans. Uh..the rest is straight forward yeah? His nantucket is also depressed. weh.
Idk. Also Mattie lets his hair grow out because I have this silly headcanon that he keeps his hair short because he doesn’t want to grow up looking like France. Which reminds me…the other day me and a friend of mine came up with a related head canon that he holds his laughter back half of the time because he doesn’t want his father’s laughter coming out of his throat. You know, like how and Max is with Goofy from a Goofy Movie haha.

“Is that…a hamburger…….with lettuce…and tomatoes? Is that…american cheddar cheese I smell.”
and Toris is like
“Why yes it is, I know it’s your favorite.”
and then Alfred’s like
“Oh Toris, you really know how to please an american man like mys—- WHOA is…is that bacon I smell?”
”Why yes it is Alfred…yes it is.“
