It dawned on me that I never drew for that old OC thing so I thought I would draw some of my old characters I never draw anymore fff. I always imagined if I took these two’s story even further they would end up being a ship. 

But then I didn’t. 

So I started reading this super cute fic last night where Gilbert was invited over to this grand gala sorta party thing Francis was throwing in honor of claiming his new territory…uh..Matthew. He wanted Gilbert to meet him but he ends up getting drunk and passing out and not being able to properly introduce them oops. However when Gilbert tries to go to bed that night, he’s rudely awakened by Mattie’s crying over being afraid of the thunderstorm that’s going on outside and baby shenanigans happen. u_u It’s super cute. He tries to calm him down and help him get over his fear of thunder and lightening and then it ends with him being tsundere towards him. “It’s not like you’re super cute or anything, go to bed god.”

I’m not ashamed to admit this was probably my first otp ever.
